Couple of changes this past month with bigger pieces of equipment, so this post is more about the operations and the process of switching out some of this stuff.
To start, our new piece of equipment is the Nord Bench Pro located upstairs, and this guy takes the place of a couple of pieces that were here when we originally bought the gym. Seeing as space is absolutely at a premium here at Findlay Barbell, we’ve tried to find ways to increase the utility of each of our pieces of equipment, while also not overpacking the place.
The Nord Bench fills the need for a back extension, Nordic hamstring curl, and for the standard glute ham raise, and it offers a lot of different options to adjust the bench, the feet, and regress/progress the angles for each exercise. The company claims the ability to do a lot of other exercises, but these are kind of fillers and not exactly needed for this machine (ex. doing a dip on this thing is pretty redundant when our gym carries much better options for that exercise), but back extension and Nordics are going to be fantastic on this!
Hope everyone has a great week! 💪
